Kellie and I went to the Tulsa Workshop. It was a great experience. We always enjoy our time at the workshop. The theme this year was unity. I aapreciated hearing brothers from the Independent Christian churches speak during the keynote sessions. Jesus prayer for unity was mentioned a lot during the weeknd. It was great to be with brothers and sisters in Christ. Friday night was the first time I ever heard Max Lucado speak live. I have seen him on video, but it was good to be there as he spoke.
I am reminded of the Psalm that states, “How good it is when brothers live together in unity.” Jesus prayed for unity, not uniformity. It would be hard to find people that agree on every doctrinal issue in the life of the church, but we can be a united people. It was good to be reminded of that lesson.
